BOLTON WANDERERS

University of Bolton Stadium (capacity 28,723)

After relocating from Burden Park, the University of Bolton Stadium (formerly known as the Reebok Stadium, and the Macron Stadium) has been home to Bolton Wanderers since 1997. The design of the stadium is superb, and can be seen for miles around, especially when it is lit up in the evening.

Each of the stands has a rectangular lower tier, with a semi-circular upper tier. The stadium itself is completely enclosed, with a large video screen situated between the South Stand and Nat Lofthouse Stand. An unusual feature of the stadium is that opposing teams enter the field of play from two separate tunnels either side of the half way line.

Away fans visiting the University of Bolton Stadium are located in the South Stand behind one of the goals, with a typical allocation of 3,000, although this can increase to 5,000 depending on demand.
