CHESTERFIELD FC

SMH Group Stadium (capacity 10,600)

Having spent an amazing 139 years at their former stadium Saltergate, Chesterfield moved to their new purpose built stadium in 2010. The stadium cost around £13 million, and as well as being home to Chesterfield, it has also played host to England U21 fixtures, and also a number of non footballing functions and concerts.

The stadium is a modern looking stadium, despite the corners not being filled in. The East Stand is sponsored by a fan and National Lottery winner, Karen Child and contains a number of sports facilities such as a gym, a rehabilitation wave pool, and sports injury clinic.

Away fans visiting the SMH Group Stadium are located in the North Stand, with a typical allocation of just over 2,100.
