Weston Homes Stadium (capacity 15,314)
Peterborough United have played at London Road (currently known as Weston Homes Stadium) since they were founded in 1934, but it is unrecognisable today compared to what it was back then. The club relied on the local council for improvements to the stadium, and it wasn’t until they took ownership in the 1950’s that the stadium underwent significant development. It was then further developed in the 1990’s.
The covered, two tiered BGL Family Stand is the most impressive of the stands inside the stadium, holding up to 5,000 fans. At one end of the stadium, the Motorpoint Stand is also an impressive sight, and replaced a covered terrace in 2014.
Away fans visiting the Weston Homes Stadium are located in the Main Stand, with an allocation of around 1,800.
There is currently no parking available to the public at the stadium, so fans are advised to park at the nearby council car park as well as Railworld car park.
We’ve compiled a list of car parks, below, near to the Weston Homes Stadium for hassle free parking while you’re at the match.
|Car Park||Sat Nav||Cost||Distance to Ground||Description|
|Pleasure Fair Meadow Council||PE2 8AT||£4||0.5km||Away fans are advised to park at this council owned car park which is secure and is just a 5 – 10 minute walk from the stadium.|
|Railworld||PE2 9NR||£3||0.8km||The other option for visiting supporters is parking in Railworld, which again is around a 5 – 10 minute walk to the stadium.|
Peterborough Station is just a mile away from the stadium, so will only take around 15-20 minutes to walk. Turn right when you exit the station on to the A15 (Bourges Boulevard). Follow this main road all the way down and then take a right after the Rivergate Shopping Centre on to Bridge Street. Continue over the bridge and keep going until you can see the stadium approach on your left hand side.
