Croud Meadow (capacity 9,875)
Croud Meadow has been home to Shrewsbury Town for just over 10 years, after they made the move from Gay Meadow in 2007. A club record was set at the stadium, with the team going 34 games unbeaten at the stadium, a run which spanned three seasons between March 2011 and September 2012.
The club were the first in English football to install safe standing at the stadium, with a capacity of around 550. The current layout is four single tiered stand, with the main stand named after Chairman, Roland Wycherley.
Away fans visiting Croud Meadow are located in the North Stand, with a typical allocation of 1,800.

There is a car park at the stadium but this is for permit holders only, and parking is prohibited in the nearby retail park and streets. So away fans are advised to park a little further away at some designated car parks or alternatively use the Meole Brace Park and Ride.

The nearest railway station to Croud Meadow is Shrewsbury Railway Station, which is around 2 miles away. It is served by Birmingham New Street, Manchester and Crewe. It’s quite a walk to the stadium from the station, and so most fans choose to get a taxi instead. Alternatively, you can get the bus which is just outside the railway station, which stops close to the stadium.
If you do choose to walk, exit the station to the South and continue down Castle Gates. Follow the road round to the left on to St Mary’s Street, and then Wyle Cop. Turn right once you reach Beeches Lane, and then a first left on to Williams Way. At the end of Williams Way turn left on to St Julian’s Crescent and a first right on to St Julian’s Friars and continue over the bridge. At the end of that road take a right onto Longden Coleham and a quick left on to Greyfriars Road. Turn right on to Belle Vue Road and continue for around a mile. Eventually you will reach the Meole Brace roundabout, where you need to take the Oteley Road exit. You will then see the stadium approach in front of you.
