WOLVES

Molineux (capacity 31,700)

Home to Wolverhampton Wanderers since 1889, Molineux was the first ‘new build’ stadium in the football league, amongst the first to install floodlights, and also hosted the very first UEFA Cup Final in 1972.

The stadium is dominated by the Stan Cullis Stand, which can be seen for miles on the Wolverhampton sky line. This is a two tiered stand which partly extends round the corner towards the Steve Bull stand. An unusual feature of the side stands is they are curved, meaning those on the half way line are a little further away from the pitch.

Away fans visiting Molineux are housed in the lower tier of the Steve Bull Stand with a typical allocation of 2,750. However, smaller followings are located on one side of the Stan Cullis Stand, with a typical allocation of around 1,600.

Turn right on to Princess Street and go straight across the Hogshead roundabout. Continue on this road until you reach the ring road, and cross the road at the traffic lights.
