Why did you choose to go to this game and why were you looking forward to it?

Chasing the Play Offs!

How did you travel to the game and how easy was it?

Drove from Wiltshire. M25 J10-11 was closed due to a bridge demolition so took 2.5 hours each way. Stadium is easy to get to though.

If you drove, was it easy to find car parking and make your way to the stadium?

On street residential parking around a 5-10 minute walk from the ground.

What did you think of the food and drink available inside the ground?

Grabbed some food at the stadium. £4 sausage roll was absolutely shocking. Burnt and flavourless. £3.50 chips were ok. Very few food options inside the ground.

What did you think of the away end and your view of the game?

Good atmosphere. We filled the stand and some seating. Reading sold out our allocation of 1,400.

What was the atmosphere like during the match?

Our fans were on good form away as usual. Crawley fans outnumbered us 3 to 1 but might as well have been non-existent. Only time they made any noise was when they scored a fortunate 90th minute equaliser.

How friendly were the home fans out of 10?

10/10

How easy did you find it to get away from the stadium after the game?

Very easy. Short walk back to the car and very little traffic getting away from the area and back onto the motorway.

How much did you spend in total on this away day? Was it good value for money?

Adult ticket was £20. My 11 year old came as well and U14’s tickets were free which was a nice touch. Then half a tank of fuel and £15-£20 for food and drinks inside the ground.

Would you recommend this away day to other fans?

I would recommend, yeah. It’s a nice little stadium in a good location. However, make sure you get food elsewhere other than in the ground!

Review by Burton Albion fan Hayden Whittle

Why did you choose to go to this game and why were you looking forward to it?

I chose this game because it’s a new ground to tick off. I was looking forward to it to see the new Burton players play.

How did you travel to the game and how easy was it?

On the Brewers Supporter’s coach.

Which pubs did you go to before the game and what was the atmosphere like?

I went to the Fanzone at the ground. The drink was horrible for the price of the pint.

What did you think of the food and drink available inside the ground?

The chips weren’t great for £3.50, and the hot chocolate was disappointing.

What did you think of the away end and your view of the game?

Very good and good viewing.

What was the atmosphere like during the match?

Couldn’t hear the Crawley fans. We were louder – good atmosphere in the Brewers end!

How friendly were the home fans out of 10?

10/10

How easy did you find it to get away from the stadium after the game?

How much did you spend in total on this away day? Was it good value for money?

£40.50 all together because of the coach.

Would you recommend this away day to other fans?

I would recommend it, yeah.

Review by Cardiff City fan Josh

Why did you choose to go to this game and why were you looking forward to it?

I went to this game because I’ve done every game apart from one this season. It’s a new ground for me and as it’s the smallest in League 1, it had to be done.

How did you travel to the game and how easy was it?

I drove down. Really easy run (drove from Peterborough). It was quicker than expected and stadium was easy to get to.

If you drove, was it easy to find car parking and make your way to the stadium?

Parked on a residential street opposite the roundabout the stadium is on. 5 minute walk on an underpass to the stadium.

Which pubs did you go to before the game and what was the atmosphere like?

Went into the club bar by their fanzone. Really friendly atmosphere, but drinks were expensive.

What did you think of the food and drink available inside the ground?

Chips looked nice but I didn’t actually get anything from the ground.

What did you think of the away end and your view of the game?

Having been in an overfilled Tamworth end last week, Crawley felt like Wembley. We filled the away end but it didn’t feel cramped. Toilets were very clean and the view was excellent. No supporting beams, clear view and we made plenty of noise.

What was the atmosphere like during the match?

We were very loud and it was a great away end. Crawley fans were very quiet and can’t remember them chanting at any point despite leading twice.

How friendly were the home fans out of 10?

10/10

How easy did you find it to get away from the stadium after the game?

Easy as I was on a residential street and it was a clear run back.

How much did you spend in total on this away day? Was it good value for money?

Tickets were under £20 and as I carpool, fuel was very cheap as everyone contributes. Must have been about £45 in total.

Would you recommend this away day to other fans?

Yeah. Stadium isn’t much to look at but is very clean inside, great view and friendly. Wish them well in their relegation battle.
